Yeah, due to all that, I now get a nice pension check for all of those years of spewing hot air somewhere near a microphone.....and some healthcare as well. Sadly, those are things that aren't around for non-union talent. More ...

I did heavy tonnage of spots and narrations after I got out of radio in 1968. I was working hard doing just VO until about 2004 when the market changed.
Maybe look into Financial Core membership that allows you to work both union and non-union. I think FC members also accrue pension and health, but I'm not sure. More ...
