We begin Side A with a demo from this month’s interviewee, Andrew “Bag” Sidwell of Fox FM in Melbourne, Australia. Bag wrote all the spots, and Mark Del Villar is credited for production on all but two of the spots, E.I.S.A. and Dept. of Transport, which were produced by Craig Jansson and Mark Jennings respectively. Promos from around the globe fill out the rest of Side A.

Side B is filled with another collection of great commercial work. We open the side with audio for this month’s Producer’s VU column; Don Lawler digs into his archives for a sample of some great 4-track analog production. Cut 2 from Kurt Kaniewski/WMRN picked up the Silver Microphone Award for Best Use of Sound Effects. Cuts 13 and 14 from Randy Horvath also picked up Silver Microphone Awards. The spots are from a campaign that was awarded National Finalist: Category Runner-up - Utilities/Transportation. Nice going guys! We wrap up the side with a spoof spot taking a poke at Mick Jagger’s 54th birthday.
