Welcome to the audio portion of RAP! We open up side A with a presentation from Dayle Honda-Stice, this month's interviewee. Designed to garner more clients for Dayle, the presentation is called "Advertising That Works" and is handed out to prospective clients of her ad agency, Mind Over Media. The writing and production is Dayle's, as well as the female voice throughout the demo. We maintain the commercial theme on side A with more hot spots from subscribers and move the promos and such to side B this month.
Side B is filled with variety. Aside from some praiseworthy promos for several different formats, we include a segment of the 35 minute "Boss Radio Reunion" presentation prepared by Ron Shapiro (KIIS-FM, Los Angeles) which was featured at the recent R&R Convention. Preceding the Boss Radio bit is a promo from Ron which wonderfully demonstrates the crafty use of pre-established national ad campaigns. We wrap up side B with a few sweepers. The set from Joe Kelly (Cut 12) illustrates a new approach used for JKCS client station KY102. Even stranger are the sweeps from Larry Bear of WNNJ-FM in Newton, New Jersey (Cut 16). Enjoy!
