2003 RAP Awards Best of the Rest!
Welcome to the April 2003 RAP CD. Cuts 1 through 18 are part one of this years RAP Awards "Best of the Rest." Many of these cuts missed making the finals by a fraction of a point, and all of them deserve recognition for keeping this competition very tough. Cuts 1-5 are from the Feature Production category. Cuts 6-11 are from the Small Market Commercial category, cuts 12-17 from the Medium Market Commercial category, and cut 18 is the only "Best of the Rest" entry from the Large Market Commercial category where we had several ties in the finals. Cut 19 is a fun little piece of audio Steve Cunningham refers to in this months "Flies 2.0" production library review utilizing some of the audio from the library. We wrap it up this month with a series of sweeper montages from the U.S. to Australia to the U.K. to Ireland! Well finish the RAP Awards "Best of the Rest" next month with the Promo categories, then well return to our regular RAP CD format with the June issue.
