Side A begins with a powerful demo from this month’s interviewee, Scott Muller of the GWR Group in the UK. The demo features work written and produced by several people on the GWR production team including Scott Muller, Chris Wrapson, Paul Andrew, and Mark Beever. Cut 2 is the audio for this month’s Producer’s VU column, a great spot for Goodyear from Hedquist Productions. We get several more commercials on the rest of Side A. including a few gems we’ve had stashed in the archives.
Side B is loaded with promos. Cut 3 from Daryl Bolton is a nicely done, creative way to recruit a Promotions Director. Craig Jackman/CHEZ-FM credits Joel Moss with the inspiration for cut 5. If you’ve ever gone to an R&R convention, cut 9 from Don Elliot will get a chuckle out of you. There’s lots more great promo work on the side including a few more gems from the archives. And we wrap the side up with a very funny spoof spot from Craig Jackman who has some creative fun with the NBA player strike.
