Welcome to the July 2010 RAP CD featuring some fresh stuff and a few tracks from the archives! We get started with Production 212 audio from Dave Foxx, followed by eight awesome promos on tracks 2 through 9. Some great commercial creativity fills out tracks 10 through 25. We get some international flair on track 20 from Michael Pederson who notes the station this ran on has a South Asian format. We get a few sweeper montages on tracks 26 through 29, and Nick Tozzi wraps it up with a little BP Oil fun on track 30.
Deadline for the August RAP CD is July 16. Please send all mp3 submissions to jv@rapmag.com. Be sure to note the title of the item you’re sending along with your name, company and/or station, and an e-mail address for people to contact you with any questions or comments about your submission. Thanks!

Support the RAP CD by sending a promo and/or a commercial recently produced at your studios. Please include your e-mail address or phone number for anyone interested in finding out details about the work such as producer, voice talent, etc. Sweepers, bits, spoof spots, song parodies, and most any other good piece of production are also welcome. If you send sweepers, dub them back to back to create a montage about sixty seconds long or less. All other items should be kept separate so we can pull them off cleanly. Normalize your mp3 files, trim silence from the front and back and email to jv@rapmag.com. Thank you! ◙
Our Members Say It Best! "Thank you all for providing us lonely producers of the Western world with not only a very interesting and valuable publication, but also, and perhaps even more importantly, a reference point with which we may gauge the quality of our radio stations, our working conditions, and ultimately, our performance. Oh yeah, and The CD is pretty cool, too!" Grant Buckerfield, G.P.P. Manager GWR-FM, Bristol, England
