Welcome to the January 2010 RAP CD! We get started with audio
from the students at SAIT, under the instruction of this month’s
interview subject, Richard Stroobant. Everything you hear is
written, voiced, and produced by the students. Track 2 is audio for
this month’s edition of Production 212 from Dave Foxx. Commercials
are on tracks 3 through 17. Promos fill out tracks 18 through 28.
And we couldn’t wrap up the month without a couple of birdie shots
at Tiger Woods on tracks 29 and 30 from Gary McClenaghan Joel Moss.
Deadline for the February CD is January 16. Please send all mp3
submissions to jv@rapmag.com. Be sure to note the title of the item
you’re sending along with your name, your company and/or station, and an
e-mail address for people to contact you with any questions or comments
about your submission. Thanks!

Support the RAP CD by sending a promo and/or a commercial recently
produced at your studios. Please include your e-mail address or phone
number for anyone interested in finding out details about the work such
as producer, voice talent, etc. Sweepers, bits, spoof spots, song
parodies, and most any other good piece of production are also welcome.
If you send sweepers, dub them back to back to create a montage about
sixty seconds long or less. All other items should be kept separate so
we can pull them off cleanly. Normalize your mp3 files, trim silence
from the front and back and email to jv@rapmag.com. Thank you! ◙
