September 2001 RAP CD
Welcome to the September 2001 RAP CD. We kick things off with a humbling
demo from this months interview subject, Dave Foxx at Z100/New York. The
rest of the CD is filled with more terrific commercials and promos. Promos
come first on cuts 2-13. Cut 3, "Contest Rules" comes from Chadd Pierce who
just recently turned 21 and seems to be doing quite well at his first radio
job -- in fact this is his first job period! Commercials are on cuts 14-23,
and we wrap up with a little goodie we found in the archives from Don
Elliot. Nice work everyone and thanks for your support of the RAP CD!
If you have a spot, promo, or some other good piece of production you'd
like to submit for the RAP CD, the deadline for the October RAP CD is
September 20, 2001. Take advantage of e-mail and mp3 if you can. Its a lot
simpler than making a dub, packaging it up, and mailing it to us. Just
convert your RAP CD submission to mp3 and e-mail to cd@rapmag.com! In the
e-mail text, be sure to include the title of the item you're sending along
with your name, your company/station, and an e-mail address or phone number
for people to contact you with any questions or comments about your
submission.
