The Cassette - July 1999
This Month On The Cassette: Welcome to the July ’99 RAP
Cassette! We get things going with a top-notch voice/production demo from
this month’s interview subject, Tom Richards/WBEB-FM. A great selection of
creative commercial work fills out the rest of Side A. Cut 9 from Andrew
Murdoch/SILK FM is good inspiration for anyone who gets limited copy facts
to work with. Andrew only had enough copy for a tag, but a couple of
announcers and some effects created a spot that was very successful for the
client.
Side B delivers some excellent promo and sweeper work, including a few more
promos taking advantage of the Star Wars hype. We wrap up the side with
three hot sweeper montages.
Great work everyone! And a special thanks to this month’s first time (or
first time in a long time) contributors! Has something on a recent RAP
Cassette helped you out of a creative slump? Then give back to The Cassette
and submit an item or two for a future Cassette! The deadline for the August
RAP Cassette is July 21.
