The Cassette - February 1999
This Month On The Cassette: We kick off Side A with a great demo from
this month’s interview subject, Chris O’Brien of WYSP, Philadelphia. Read
the interview first and get some insight into his style to really appreciate
the demo! The rest of Side A is filled with the usual dose of creative
commercial work from around the globe.
Side B is devoted chiefly to promos. Patrick O’Regan does a nice job on
cut 2, a promo about awards the station’s production department won. Great
idea! Cut 3 similarly promotes the station’s creative department. We wrap up
Side B with two well-done sweeper montages and a spoof spot for grins.
Excellent work everyone, and thanks for your support of this month’s RAP
Cassette! Next month’s Cassette features the finalists in the 1998 RAP
Awards, so you are off the hook for submitting tapes. But if you want to get
an early start, the deadline for the April RAP Cassette is March 21.
