ALESIS CORPORATION announces the newest addition
to the MIDIVERB line, MIDIVERB III. The 16-bit Simultaneous Multi-Effects
processor offers 3 effects at once, including reverb, delay, and chorus or

DYNACORD unveils their new ADS (Advanced Digital
Sampler). The 16/20-bit stereo sampler features 16 voice polyphony, 2 meg
expandable memory offering 23 seconds of sample storage at a bandwidth of

CORRECTION!!! Last month we quoted the price of TASCAM's
688 MidiStudio at $375 per track or $3000. Tascam advised us of an error in
their press release; The actual price is $3299.
THE MIX
The NAB Radio Show comes to New Orleans next month. Show
dates are September 13th thru the 16th. The Programming and Production
Showcase is slated for Friday, Sept. 15th, from 4-6pm.
Subscriber Sandy Thomas, Production Director at WXDJ-FM
in Miami, announces the formation of SANDY THOMAS PRODUCTIONS. The company's
first service is an AOR sweeper, ID, and promo package. Sandy will remain at
WXDJ while getting the business off the ground. Look for a sample of Sandy's

Randy Reeves, former Production Director at Power 99 in
Atlanta, has also made the move into his own production company. Randy,
however, has left the station to do it. Randy is also the subject of next
month's interview. As of this writing, it is unsure whether the position at
the station will be filled by someone on staff or if the search will begin
for someone outside. Join us in extending best wishes to Randy, too!
Congrats are in order for Rick Allen at Hot 97 in New
York, winner of the New York State Broadcaster's Association's first place
award for Major Market Promo. Way to go Rick!!! ◙
